I grew up in a large musical family in a small rural town.
My father was a jazz pianist who played mostly by ear.
I had a sense for a long time that I would eventually want to make my own music. Reaching out to Will Ackerman in 2016 was really the culmination of a lifetime of musical training and preparation.
